When I was in my first full-time job as an auditor and had my mini-crisis I felt crushed. I did everything I was supposed to do in life… get good grades, go to a good college, and get a cushy corporate job with a defined ladder to the top. I was supposed to be set for life, but I felt nothing of the sort.
I saw people who seemed happy and fulfilled in their lives and, although I felt miles away from those feelings, my attempts to convince myself that an amazing life wasn’t available to me always fell flat. I had a deep inner knowing that I could have a life I loved too.
I began to seek out evidence that the life I wanted was possible. I looked for the common threads in what I was finding. I stepped one foot in from of the other, slowly tracking forward (and sometimes a little backwards or sideways) towards figuring out how I could create the life I wanted. My action steps went from doing things like listening to podcasts, to investing $500 in a workshop, to investing $7000 in a group program, all within a matter of 4 years.
How do you want your life to look? What is ONE step you can take today to inch (or leap) forward towards it?
One of the biggest things that helped me get clarity was immersing myself in the stories of women who were doing what I wanted to do. They showed me it was possible, and I learned what actions I could take by observing what they were doing.
I created the GO FOR IT Summit so you could have access to 21 interviews all in one place from amazing female entrepreneurs who generously share their stories, tips, and tricks. These interviews will leave you feeling inspired and empowered to move forward with your business. I invite you to join me in this summit by clicking here. I can’t wait to share these interviews with you starting Feb 6!
